So late blog again, but day 16 was prettyyyy.. uneventful. it was friday but we just did the usual routine and ended up back at the hotel. we took a long ride to the snowboarding rental place, where we got most of our stuff. renting clothes wasn't as bad as i thought.. about $16 USD but well worth it considering i didn't bring that stuff and saved space in my luggage. We came back home and decided to try this new restaurant across the street called Cafe Torres. it was a big pricey, but so delicious and convenient. (the menu was in english! (: )
beeb's "poor man's steak"
my chicken with mushroom sauce. with artichoke and ham inside. mmmmmmm
after we went to the supermarket to buy food for snowboarding. a bunch of us made like.. 16 sandwiches. haha, but so worth it! lots of nutella, ham, cheese, mustard, peanutbutter, and jelly. but not all together.
:// the next day..
woke up HELLA early for boarding.. like at 7AM and ate breakfast and got ready for the day to begin! first we picked up all of our crap and took the 2 hour ride up the mountain.
van picture!
i don't have very many pictures of the actual boarding because well.. i was snowboarding! it was so funnn! there's no trees up there and the snow on the sides were POWDER, which made falling very enjoyable :P darryl forced me down some red level hills which i just braked down.. but the other easy hills were so fun. i ate it a bunch of times because i attempted carving, but it was a major fail.
beebs going ahead of me like usual.
after killing myself a bunch of times i just went back to the van and hung out with Caroline, Deepa, and Theresa in the snow! it was right next to the van and was like.. a foot or two deep with powderrrr. THIS i have pictures of because it was so much more relaxing :)
me and the Andes! i <3
hey, hey, hey, u look like a way cuter version of me in your pictures! i love ur cheezin' X) be safe <3
