but on my last day in Buenos Aires, the whole group went to Recolleta and i bought a few souvenirs. a wallet/purse leather thing for my sister, and a musical pipe thing for me or mistah Ruiz. haha, after i practice it of course. i might just keep it for myself though :P a few of us then went through this city-like cemetery. it was pretty scary for me because well.. everything scares me. i even got paranoid that i picked something up from there (like a ghost) and i've been a bit jumpy since -___________-;;...

After Recoletta, Maria took us to the oldest cafe in Buenos Aires but it was pretty fancy! our table actually ordered food but the churros and hot chocolate were the best i've ever tasted! Darryl and i needed to spend our money because we thought we were going to another destination after recolleta but we ended up not going so we had a lot of extra argentinian pesos left over for the best meal ever!

i will definitely miss Argentina. even though they get a bad rap for being very cocky, i feel like i didn't get that much at all. people SHOULD be proud of their country and Buenos Aires was definitely extremely beautiful and impressive. it was easy to navigate and people speak some English and very slow Spanish. we had the best conversation in Spanish to our cab driver to the cafe!
Our flight was a little less stressful, checking-wise, but our flight was delayed an hour. when we got on to the "plane" it ended up being buses that took us to the plane out on the tarmac. it was cool because i've never actually been out there so i took a nasty picture with the plane, haha. the plane was a lot smaller and we didn't get our own TVs :( but i DID get 3 whole seats to myself which made it easier to sleep and ignore the turbulance :) the documentary playing was about the big bang, antimatter, particle accelerators and it made me want to watch discovery channel again at home with Edgar. haha.
i'm double-chinning it to the max out on the tarmac. haahah
I'm homesick today especially because it's fourth of july. i want to watch fireworks for darryl and my anniversary but i guess we're going out tonight, just us i think :) i just want to be home for this holiday because its always especially fun because my cousin clare is home for the first time in like.. 7 years to celebrate it! and now.. i'm not there haha. Well if i get time tomorrow i will upload the pictures because i feel like all this text will bore out the few readers i do have out there. lol. :P
