So the second day of Pucon! Because a few of our group went hiking up the volcano, including darryl we decided to have a chill day by going on a tour of the area. We took a van and made a bunch of stops where our guide told us a lot of stuff about the history of the place. first of about an avalanche area, then a view of the mountains/volcanos, then to this river where people go white water rafting/kayaking, then to this pretty waterfall area with REALLY clear water, then to another view of the mountains and finally back home! it's hard to talk about so for sure i'll upload pictures by tomorrow.

first stop.. avalanche area/ border of Chile and Argentina.

entry into next stop.. lol. we're trespassing, i'm PRETTY sure..
can't even see the group ahead. this is what i imagine Chile to be like! ahah.

the crazy waves of where people WOULD go rafting in the summer if it wasn't FREEZING!

next stop.. the place i would like to call "the little oasis pond" .. because i don't know the real name. lol

waterfall started here and got to.....

HERE! you can see exactly what's on the bottom. so clean!

Lea with the SUPER clear water.

the clear water emptied into this oasis type place with two waterfalls! i don't really know where it all drained out of though.. haha
Caroline, Lea, and JohnMai
When we got back went more grocery shopping because we wanted to eat aLOT for dinner and for breakfast the next day since today's breakfast wasn't sufficient to get us full but kept us satified for a little. took a taxi back again, but i think i like taxis in Pucon because the charge by person.. not by distance or time.

puppy friend! :)
We cooked a very satisfying dinner of spaghetti and garlic bread.. more like Lea and JohnMai, but it was sooo good to eat good food and cooking it for ourselves too. after our nice little break until 8PM, we got picked up to go to the HOTSPRINGS! i think only one or two people took pictures that night, but it was really nice! it was FREAKING cold changing into shorts and a tank top because i didn't bring a suit, but once we got into the water it was so relaxing :) we stayed in the water for a couple hours i think but the NIGHTMARE that was getting out of the hot water and into the cold 32 degree farenheit air was nothing to mess with. it was like that shock and feeling that you just can't get out of and when i got back up that hill and into the cabin i think i took the hottest shower of my life! maybe because i was getting hypothermia or i felt like it at least.. haha.
spaghetti and garlic break plate dinner! :D cost: about $2.00 USD :))))) the best part of it!
AHH, so relaxing :)
we ended the night with more beerpong and more kicking back that night until almost 3AM! it was very chill because we decided we weren't going to do anything the next day that was too intense or anything. went to sleep feeling very warm, and satisfied with the day's events :)
